Band Bio:

Herb N’ Life is proof that authenticity and evolution can go hand in hand. What began in the early 2000s as a reggae-rock experiment with Sam Edwards, Joe Pealstrom, and Jeff Tryon has transformed into a high-energy powerhouse with a lineup that feels like it was meant to be. Today, the band is helmed by Sam Edwards on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, with bassist Cisco Carballo—a founding member of Fayuca and Las Calakas—bringing a gritty edge to the low end. Rounding it out are brothers Arian and Adrian Valenzuela, who hold down the groove on drums and shred leads on guitar with a chemistry only siblings could achieve.

Their debut album, The Blue Album, recorded by producer Ralph Patlan, hit like a lightning strike. Singles like Stay Away, Follow Me Down, Change My Mind, and Call Out showcased a sound that was raw, catchy, and unapologetically Herb N’ Life. By the time they dropped the Herb N’ Life EP—crafted at the legendary 17th Street Studio with Lewis Richards—their identity was clear. The EP’s standout track, Mickey’s, quickly became a fan favorite, cementing their place in the reggae-rock scene.

Now, Herb N’ Life is on the brink of their biggest release yet. With Matt Keller behind the boards, the band is pushing their sound to new heights with singles like My Town, Chronic Song, and No Borders. It’s a release that feels less like an arrival and more like an evolution—an expansion of the sound that’s always been theirs. Recognition has followed: they were crowned Phoenix Magazine’s "Best Band in the Valley" for 2024 and took home top honors in the Rome & Duddy Podcast’s America’s Got Talent Contest.

Herb N’ Life’s story doesn’t stop with the music. Their videos for Stay Away and Follow Me Down, directed by Kooks of Multiple Arms Pro, blend vivid visuals with the band’s unmistakable vibe. Sponsorships with Dixxon Flannel Company, BlackFlys Eyewear, and Elevado Drinks show how they’ve built more than just a sound—they’ve built a lifestyle.

This is a band that lives its mantra: Brand | Product | Lifestyle. Herb N’ Life isn’t just making music—they’re making moments, breaking boundaries, and creating a legacy that feels as timeless as it does fresh.
